2011 Membership Advisory Council

The Highland County Senior Citizens Center is a non-profit organization established in 1970.  It is supported solely by membership dues, fund raising activities and private donations, and receives no funding from any government entity. Dues are $20.00 per year.  Services are rendered on a nondiscriminatory basis. The Center is handicap accessible in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act.

The Center’s mission is to provide persons age 50 and over with opportunities and activities designed to help them remain active and involved in the community.  The Center will advocate for the needs, issues and concerns of older adults and represent their interests in the community, the state and the nation.
